HAZARDS SUMMARY REPORT FOR THE NUCLEAR SCIENCE CENTER

A final design and safety analysis of the proposed reactor facility for Texas A and M College is presented in order to substantiate a request for approval to construct and operate said facility. The reactor will be a lightwater cooled and moderated, swimming pool research reactor similar in design to, and incorporating the same control system and safety features as, the 3-Mw Ground Shield Test Reactor. The reactor is scheduled for operation up to 5-Mw with modifications to the cooling system. (W.D.M.)
