The author investigated the efficacy of native isoplasma transfusions against the background of complex therapy in dogs subjected to total irradiation in the dose of 700 to 800 r (LD/sub 95/). As demonstrated, numerous native plasraa transfusions conducted at various periods of radiation sickness appeared to be an effective means of treating acute radiation sickness. Native plasma, probably, has a favorable effect on hemopciesis and possesses disintoxicating properties. (auth)
