A method of comparative'' leaching and emanation was applied for determining microquantities of decay products. It is shown that the separtion of materials and decay products (Th and RdTh, U I and U II, Pb, and RaD) can be explained by their crystal lattice position. The weaker leaching ability of RdTh in comparison to ThX (Ra/sup 224/) results from its higher adsorptive property. The data obtained on radioelement content in natural waters is in complete agreement with the developed concept on radioelement migration. The results obtained on migration from minerals can ge applied to the state of radioelements in artificially prepared salts. (R.V.J.)
