A preliminary summary is presented of information on the low-cycle strain fitigue properties of vacuummelted Zircaloy-2. A statistical study is presented of the effect of heat treatment on the tensile properties of Zircaloy-2. The corrosion resistance of Zircaloy-2 alloys containing 14, 34, 44, 57, 63, and 78 wt.% Cu was investigated. Data are presented on argon vs. helium shielded welds on Zircaloy-2.
