An ionization chamber for recording nuclear radiations free of background radiations is described. The chamber consists of a compensating and a sensitive part, high-voltage electrodes and a collecting electrode. Tbe size of the chamber is reduced and the adjustment simplified by hermetically separating the compensating part from the sensitive part. (TCO)
