Effect of X-Radiation on the Survival of Yeast in Dry and Wet Conditions

Journal Article · · Nature (London)

The effects of both direct and indirect actions of ionizing radiations on yeast cells were measured by irradiating the material in both the dry and wet state. Results show a considerable difference between cells irradiated in the dry state and those held in suspension in water. Results are presented graphically. (C.H.)
