Post irradiation processing of the five unalloyed extruded U tubes has continued. Experimental work on fabrication of tabes with core alloys of U-1.5 wt.% Mo and U-1 wt.% Si is presented. An extrusion of two additional prototype driver tubes demonstrated the feasibility of extruding this type of tube directly to size without employing colddrawing. (For preceding period see NMI-4395.)
