DOUBLE-HYPERFRAGMENT EVENT

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev. Letters
A star found in Ilford G-5 nuclear emulsion irradiated by 4.5-Bev/c pi / sup -/ mesons from the Bevatron is illustrated and explained. One particle is a uniquely identified /sub lambda /H/sup 4/ with B/sub lambda / = 2.29 plus or minus 0.61 Mev, and the other can be satisfactorily analyzed as /sub lambda /H/ sup 4/ or /sub lambda /Li/sup 8.9/, with other possibilities remote.
