The results to date of the du Pont study of naturaluranium-fueled, heavy- water-moderated power reactors are reviewed. The scope of the program and its current goals are presented. Continued progress is reported on the design and construction of the Heavy Water Components Test Reactor. The results of additional fabrication tests on prototype fuel elements of natural uranium metal and of natural uranium oxide are recorded. (For preceding period sec DP-415.) (auth)
