Cost estimates are reviewed for eight conceptual designs of heavy-water- moderated, natural-uranium fueled power reactors. Continued progress is reported on the design of the Heavy Water Components Test Reactor (a high temperature irradiation test facility), the construction of a pressurized exponential tank, the fabrication of several power reactor fuel elements, and the irradiation testing of these fuels. Other nuclear, engineering, and materials problems concerning these reactors are also discussed. (For preceding period see DP-315.) (auth)
