CERIC DOSIMETRY: ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS AT 10$sup 8$ RADS

Journal Article · · Nucleonics (U.S.) Ceased publication
OSTI ID:4207662

Ceric solution concentrations from 0.0 to 0.39 M when subjected to doses of 10/sup 8/ rads are presented in dosimeter curves. Non-linearity of the dosimeter curve is exhibited by 0.39 M ceric sulfate. In 0.39 M ceric sulfate, solution G(Ce/sup 3+/) increases to 3.1. An opposite reaction occurs when the cerous concentration becomes high near complete depletion of ceric ions. (C.J.C.)
