THE SPECIFIC HEAT OF CERIUM MAGNESIUM NITRATE BELOW 10 K

Journal Article · · Phil. Mag.
The specific heat of cerium magnesium nitrate was measured in the range 1.5 io 10 deg K where the magnetic specific heat is negligible compared with the lattice specific heat. It was found that above 3 deg K the lattice specific heat cannot be represented by a single Debye term but below the temperature it is given by C/sub L/ = 1.13 x 10/sup -3/ RT/sub 3/. (auth)
