Vibrational relaxation of DF by He and Ar

Journal Article · · J. Chem. Phys., v. 63, no. 5, pp. 2253-2254
DOI:https://doi.org/10.1063/1.431612· OSTI ID:4195295
Relaxation times of DF in Ar near 1000 degreeK and of DF in He between 1000 and 2600 degreeK have been obtained in a shock tube experiment and the results have been compared with other results and calculations. It is concluded that both rotation and translation must be included in a proper description of the relaxation process. (AIP)
