Spectral characteristics of alkali halide crystals activated with indiunn, lead, and tin in the presence of high concentrations of the activator and other defects in the host lattice, were investigated. In phosphors in which the radins of the activator is larger than that of the cation of the host crystal two types of luminescence centers were discovered. (auth)
