Journal Article · · Nuclear Energy
OSTI ID:4187285
A description is given of the high-intenstty pulsed neutron source at Harwell. The travelling wave linear accelerator, cooled by mercury, produces bursts of electrons with an energy of 30 Mev and at a rate cf 750 pulses per sec. Four klystron amplifiers are utilized to produce the output of a peak RF power of 24 Mw. (C.J.G.)
