DETERMINATION OF ATOMIC CONCENTRATION IN ARC DISCHARGE PLASMA ACCORDING TO THE SPECTRAL LINE WIDTHS AND THE BOND BETWEEN CONCENTRATIONS IN SOLID AND GAS PHASES (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Izvest, Akad. Nauk. S.S.S.R., Ser. Fiz.
OSTI ID:4186005
Measurements were made of mean concentrations of atoms and tons in the cloud of an a-c are discharge, with consideration for the degree of non- uniformity of the source i.e., the irregularity of the excited and unexcited atoms along the discharge cross section. The measurements indicate a direct proportionality between atomic and ionic concentrations of Mg and Ca in discharge clouds and in prepared electrodes. (R.V.J.)
