Incorporating Castillejo--Dalitz--Dyson poles as input in N/D calculations

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev., D, v. 12, no. 3, pp. 888-891

A generalized integral equation for ReN (z) is derived in which all the necessary information for determining Castillejo-Dalitz-Dyson (CDD) poles is incorporated as input, and for which this information can be taken directly from phase-shift data: just as the inelasticity function eta (z) can. Hence, N/D calculations with CDD poles are as ''dynamical'' or rather as empirical as those without, in that they do not require adjustable CDD parameters.
