Dispersion relations and Castillejo-Dalitz-Dyson pole in the. pi. N P wave scattering amplitude

New dispersion relations for ..pi..N P wave scattering which is constrained by the scattering volume are derived. It turns out that Castillejo-Dalitz-Dyson poles can be included only in the simplest form of dispersion relations. In order to derive the pionic scattering volume for the P wave, the rho meson effect is subtracted from the experimental one.
