CIRCULAR POLARIZATION OF INTERNAL BREMSSTRAHLUNG ACCOMPANYING $beta$ DECAY

The circular polarization of internal bremsstranlumg for beta transitions in the allowed decay of P/sup 32/, the first forbidden decay of Bi/ sup 210/, and the unique forbidden decay of Y/sup 90/ was determined. Corrections were applied and the results compared to theory. Good sgreernent with theory was obtained for P/sup 32/ and Y/sup 90/, but the results for Bi/sup 210/ were con sistently lower. (C.J.G.)
