MEASUREMENTS OF CORPUSCULAR RADIATION IN THE UPPER ATMOSPHERE (in Russian)

Corpuscular radiation was measured at es sufficiert t 100 km at mean latitudes and in polar regions. The data at mean latitudes were less accurate due to the effects of light scattering. Signals recorded at 70 and 100 km, determined by correlations of upper trajectories in front of a photomultiplier with absorbers of 1.8 and 2.0 mg/cm/sup 2/, indicate an electron flux with es sufficiert t 40 kev energy. It is shown that the corpuscular flux is reduced above es sufficiert t 100 km. Data taken in polar regions, when the intensity of corpuscular radiation is more intense, are tabulated. (R.V.J.)
