Symmetry and exact dyon solutions for classical Yang--Mills field equations
It is shown that the conserved magnetic and electric charges in non- Abelian theories have nothing to do with the Higgs scalars and/or the symmetry structure of the Lagrangian. They are a consequence of the local isospin gauge symmetry. Several exact static dyon solutions to the nonlinear classical field equations are presented in both massless and massive Yang-Mills theories, which possess both electric and magnetic charges. (auth)
