THE ENERGY LEVELS OF $sup 21$Ne

Journal Article · · Proc. Phys. Soc. (London)
The positions of 67 energy levels from F/sup 19/(He/sup 3/,p)Ne/sup 21/ are reported. Singly charged He/sup 3/ with an energy of 5.87 Mev was used to bombard a thin target containing F/sup 19/. Agreement with other investigations was good for the lowlying levels but many of the higher excited states were shown to be multiplets. The Q-value for the reaction was calculated to be 11.902 plus or minus 0.015 Mev. (C.J.G.)
