ELASTIC SCATTERING OF 390 Mev $pi$$sup +$ MESONS BY PROTONS (in Russian)

The anguiar distribution of (390 plus or minus 25) Mev pi /sup +/ mesons elastically scattered on hydrogen was measured with help of nuclear photographic emulsions. An expression for the differential scattering cross section is given. Phase shifts of the Fermi solution obtained by assuming that only S and P states participate in scattering are alpha /sub 3/ =--34 deg , alpha /sub 33/ = 151 deg and alpha /sub 31/ = --16 deg .
