Basic modifications to the EBWR for increasing the operating design rating of 20 to 100 Mw(t) are covered. Changes and additions to the plant, core, reactor vessel, and other major components are shown. An analysis of the effect of these changes on the performance and safety of the reactor is presented. A re- evaluation of the previous hazards was made, and some additional hazards brought about by the increased power level modification are covered. (W.D.M.)
