DIFFUSION RATES AND SOLUBILITIES OF INTERSTITIALS IN REFRACTORY METALS

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4169534
Diffusion data for oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and hydrogen in niobium and tantalum are presented. Other data on the solubility limits of carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and hydrogen in tungsten, tantalum, molybdenum, niobium, vanadium, and chromium at 600 to 1200 deg C are also included. Mathematical relations and expressions concerning diffusion are discussed. 45 references. (J.R.D.)
