The pure quadrupole resonance of Cl/sup 35/ in NaClO/sub 3/ was studied at 54 to 4.2 deg K. The data obtained were fitted to the Bayer-Kushida theory over three different temperature ranges, 4.2 to 54 deg K; 16 to 54 deg K; and 4.2 to 78 deg K. It was found that the values obtained by fitting the data to the Bayer-Kushida theory are not consistent with the calculated values of Kushida for the temperature ranges fitted. (P.C.H.)
