A pulse analyzer with electrostatic memory and ordinary cathode tube is described. The apparatus has 64 channels, the capacity of each being 2/sup 16/ to 1. The maximum statistical number of pulses analyzed is 200/sec. The spectrum is permanently visible on the screen of the cathode tube in the binary system of numeration. The possibility of blocking the analysis of certain pulses by the control, in coincidence, of some "veto" pulse and of extending a portion of the spectrum studied to all 64 channels is predicted.
