AQUO-OXALATO-SULFATE COMPOUNDS OF URANIUM (in Russian)

The following mixed aquo-acido complex uranyl compounds containing an oxalate and a sulfate group were synthesized for the first time: K/sub 2/STAUO/ sub 2/(C/sub 2/O/sub 4/) (SO/sub 4/ (H/sub 2/O)/sub 2/!. H/sub 2/O, Rb/sub 2/ STAUO/sub 2/(C/sub 2/O/sub 4/)(SO/sub 4/)(H/sub 2/O)/sub 2/!, Cs/sub 2/STAUO/sub 2/(C/sub 2/O/sub 4/)(SO/sub 4/)(H/sub 2/O)/sub 2/)!, and Cs(NH/sub 4/) (UO/sub 2/ (C/sub 2/O/sub 4/) (SO/sub 4/)(H/sub 2/O)/sub 2/!. T he molecular conductivity and pH were determined in dilute solutions, and it was concluded that the decrease in stability of these complexes in aqueous solution is as follows: STAUO/ sub 2/(C/sub 2/O/sub 4/)/sub 2/(H/sub 2/O)/sub 2/!/sup 2-/ > STAUO/sub 2/(C/su b 2/O/sub 4/)(SO/sub 4)(H/sub 2/O)/sub 2/!/sup 2-/ > STAUO/sub 2/(SO/sub 4/)/sub 2/ (H/sub 2O)/sub 2/!/sup 2-.
