The complexing of Np/sup 4+/ with oxalate was investigated. The solubility product of neptuniunn oxalate was Sp/sub 19 deg / = (8.6 plus or minus 1.8) x 10/sup -2/). The stability concentration was: STANp (C/sub 2/O/sub 4/)/sup 2+/!, K/sub 1/ = (2.9 plus or minus 2) x 10/sup -9/; STANp (C/sub 2/O/ sub 4/)/sub 2/!/sup 0/, K/sub 2/ = (2.9 plus or minus 0.05) x 10-iQ; STANp (C/ sub 2/O/sub 4/)/sub 3/!/sup 2-/, K/sub 3/ = (1.1 plus or minus 0.1) x 10/sup - 24/; STANp (C/sub 2/O/sub 4/)/sub 4/!/sup 4-/, K/sub 4/ = 4 x 10/su p -28/ (R.V.J.)
