Reactions of Np(IV) and (VI) with phenylarsonic acids were analyzed by precipitating Np with 4% aqueous solutions. Preliminary results indicate that Np(IV) and (VI) form compounds resistaint to solubility and Np(V) does not precipitate with phenylarscnic acid. The solubility products of neptunium phenylarsonates of Np(IV) and Np(VI) are NpR/sub 2/ = (2.7 plus or minus 2.5) x 10/sup -30/ and NpC/sub 2/R = (1 plus or minus 0.2) x 10/sup -14/ respect ively.
