LEVELS IN $sup 200$Hg STUDIED FROM THE DECAY OF $sup 200$Tl

The gamma-ray spectrum from the decay of Tl/sup 200/ was investigated with a scintillation spectrometer. The ground state transitions from the 1595, 1732, and 1885 kev levels in Hg/sup 200/ were detected. From summing studies and from the direct gamma-ray spectrum the existence of new levels at 2000 plus or minus 20, 2280 plus or minus 20, and 2400 plus or minus 30 kev in Hg/sup 200/ , populated from the decay of Tl/sup 200/, is inferred.
