DIRECT RADIOSYNTHESIS OF SOME DYES (in French)

According to the molecular weight of the irradiated molecule, ultraviolet and x radiations cause either radiolysis or synthesis. A direct method for the radiosynthesis of dyes is proposed. The method combines the simultaneous effects of radiation and heat. Studies made on the synthesis of various dyes show that the radiosynthetic yield increases with the length of irradiation and with increased temperature. (J.S.R.)
