Task Unit 15 was organized for the purpose of providing a remote-control system capable of arming, firing, and monitoring vital information from a surface-detonated device. Provision was made to telemeter via television certain important information on one cryogenic shot. The systems used at Eniwetok and Bikini proved both reliable and accurate and appear well justified for use on future operations of this sort.
