Study on density of Coal Water Mixture (CWM)

Yan Ri Coal Water Mixture Plant, which jointly invested in China and Japan at Ri Zhao Port, has been set up and formerly went into operation in 2, 1992, and the first vessel CWM has exported to Japan in March, 1992. This marked Coal Water Mixture (afterhere abbreviate CWM) has already stridden into international market from former trial-productive stage. Generally, method of computation by volume is adapted in the process of international trade weight appraision because CWM is homogeneous made of water and coal, so CWM`s weight will be obtained by using the product of volume and density of CWM in shore tank or vessel tank. Therefore, the density of CWM is not only a common physichemical index but also directly effects the weight, which is the matter of the most concern to both sides of trade. So inspection of CWM density as well as other factors effecting should be studied necessarily. Afterhere, we introduce simply the situation of study on CWM density to everyone.
