THE BRANCHING RATIO OF THE DECAY OF THE K$sup +$-MESON

The branching ratios of three modes of K/sup +/-meson decay; up 0/ + nu , K/sup +/ yields e/sup +/ + pi /sup 0/ + nu , and K/sup +/ yields mu /sup +/ + nu , are calculated by using the Fermi weak interaction theory. The pertarbation method with cut-off is used. The ratio obtained is 1: 1.5: 12, which is in fair agreement with the experimental value 1: 1: 15. It is shown tbat other combinations of the Fermi interactions can not give results in agreement with experiment. (auth)
