ABS>Calorimetric measurements were made of heat of formation of mixed Ln(NO/sub 3/)/sub 3/ solutions (where Ln = Nd, Sm, and Gd) and trilon B. Thermal effects and entropy variations in ethylenediaminetetraacetate complexes of neodymium are --4.8 plus or minus 0.1 and 55 kcal/mole/degrees, of samarium - 4.6 plus or minus 0.2 and 50 cal/mole/degrees, and gadolinium --2.5 plus or minus 0.1 and 67 cal/mole/degrees.
