Experiments on Observation of Radioactive Decay Accompanied by Proton Emission; EKSPERIMENTY PO NABLYUDENIYU RADIOAKTIVNOGO RASPADA S ISPUSKANIEM PROTONOV

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4153498
The composition of the radiation of the radioactive products from Ne/sup 20/ reactions with Ni was investigated. A telescope consisting of a proportional counter and a silicon detector was used as a detector. The radioactive decay accompanied by the emission of protons with energies of 2.5 to 3 and about 5 Mev was observed. The half lives of the two emitters are about 25 and 0.1 sec, respectively. The first emitter is formed by the complete or partial fusion of nuclei accompanied by the nucleon evaporation; the second one by nucleon transfer reaction. (auth)
