EFFECT OF DELAYED NEUTRONS ON NONLINEAR REACTOR STABILITY

The effect of delayed neutron precursors on the stability of nuclear reactors described by nonlinear equations is investigated. It is shown by means of Liapunov's second method that a sufficient condition of stability is that the reactor be stable without delayed neutron precursors. An illustrative example is included. (auth)
