Detection and measurements of light-light scattering were accomplished by using laser photons and bremsstrahlung quanta generated by high energy electron beams. In the scattering of 33 to 40 Bev gamma quanta generated by electrons in the laser beam, 10 to 15 photons per hour were recorded with 500-Mev energies. (R.V.J.)
