ROTATION ENERGY OF EVEN-EVEN AND ODD NUCLEI (in Russian)

The theory of rotational states in nonaxial even-even nuclei is analyzed on the basis of previously postulated simplifications, considering that in nuclear rotation the intrinsic state does not vary, that the three main moments in nuclear inentia depend on the parameter, which determines the deflection from axial symmetry in the expression I = A sin/sup 2/STA gamma (2 pi /3)i!, and that the electric charge is uniformly distributed along the nuclear volume. Various approaches are suggested for further developing the theory of rotational states of nonaxial even-even and odd nuclei. (R.V.J.)
