THE HIGH VACUUM SYSTEM USING EPOXY RESIN AND GLASS CLOTH FOR THE PRINCETON- PENNSYLVANIA PROTON SYNCHROTRON

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4148430
The evaluation and selection of and epoxy resin for use in the vacuum system of a proton synchrotron is described. The resin chosen allows routine operations in the pressure range 8 x 10/sup -7/ to 2 x 10/sup -6/ torr. The design of a vacuum pump system for use with this synchrotron is also described. (T.F.H.)
