ON THE SCATTERING OF THE TRANSVERSELY POLARIZED FERMIONS (in Russian)

The elastic scattering of transversally polarized fermions is considered. It is shown that in the ultrarelativistic case, scattering of the longitudinally polarized fermions is characterized by the four-dimensional spin pseudovector while scattering of the transversally polarized ones is characterized by the four- dimensional intrinsic angular momentum tensor. In the latter case the interactions propontional to the matrices p/sub 1/ and R leave the scattered ferudions transversely-polarized; conversely, when the interaction energy contains p/sub 3/or p/sub 4/, the longitudinal component ruay appear after stattering (if the particle has a non-zero rest-mass).
