FORMATION OF HYDRAZINE IN $beta$ IRRADIATION OF LIQUID AMMONIA AND AMMONIA AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS (in Russian)

Gamma radiolysis of liquid ammonia was investigated and formation of N/ sub 2/H/sub 4/, N/sub 2/, and H/sub 2/ as a function of dosag e at various temperatures was determined. The yields of these substances were found at --70, - -26, and 15 deg C. Hydrazine formation in irradiated ammonia aqueous solutions was investigated at a wide range of concentrations and the maximum of N/sub 2/H/ sub 4/ formation as a function of solution composition was found.
