Distribution coefficients for uranyl nitrate extraction from aqueous 0.04 molar solutions by diisoamyl ester of methylphosphonic acid in benzene at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 deg C were measured. The salting-out mechanism of various concentrations of Mg, Ca, Co, Ni, Zn, Sr, and Cd nitrates was analyzed. (R.V.J.)
