THE SELF-DIFFUSION OF COLUMBIUM

Journal Article · · Trans. Met. Soc. AIME
OSTI ID:4144686

The self-diffusion coefficient of columbium was measured over the temperature range 1585 to 2120 deg C, using the radioactive isotope Nb/sup 95/ as the tracer. The data for the temperature dependence of the self-diffusion coefficient are best fitted by the equation D = (12.4 plus or minus 0.8) exp STA(--105,000 plus or minus 3000)/RT! cm/sup 2//sec. (auth)
