At the present time, environmental radioactive contamination due to fallout presents serious radiological health problems to the human population. The contribution of radioactive materials from the diet represents a major internal radiation source of the human body; therefore, it is necessary to survey radioactive levels in various foods. The present paper deals wwith the total BETA -activity and Sr/sup 90/ in foods purchased from the Seoul area during the period of past three years. (auth)
