Post mortem samples of human breast muscles collected in Tokyo during December 1981 to November 1952 were analyzed for Cs/sup 137/ and K. Two peaks in monthly averages were observed in the Cs/sup 137/ levels in March and October 1962, the concentrations being 0.201 and 0.156 mu mu C/g, respectively, as compared to the mean levels of 0.09-0.11 mu mu C/g. The estimates of total body burden showed 4.34.8 m mu C on the average for the whole period. (auth)
