A method for calculating the dose distribution during pendulum irradiation, described previously was extended for tangential pendulum irradiation using the dose distribution of stationary radiation direction. The geometric conditions necessary for the calculation are discussed. An example of the calculation procedure is given. There is good agreement between calculated and experimental dose values especially in the area of the maximum dose. There is no need to calculate fixed field isodoses in the case of oblique radiation direction. (auth)
