A fast time-to-amplitude converter is described which secures reliable operation. Its intrinsic resolution is of the order of 10/sup -10/ sec. The resolution curve for Co/sup 60/ gamma rays exhibits a fall width at half maximum of about 4 x 10/sup -10/ sec. Further improvements of the apparatus are indicated. (auth)
