Li(t,n) Be THICK TARGET YIELDS

Journal Article · · Nuclear Science and Engineering (U.S.)
Absolute thick target yields, in terms of neutrons per steradian per triton, of the Li/sup 6/(t, n)Be/sup 8/ and Li/sup 7/(t, n)Be/sup 9/ reactions are presented. An angular distribution for 2.60Mev tritons and an excitation function at 0 deg for tritons in the range 0.80 to 2.60 Mev are given. The Li/ sup 7/ yields are generally about three times larger than the Li/sup 6/ yields. Some details about the neutron spectra are presented. (auth)
